This is a drive plate halite gasket.It fits between the drive bearing and casing and the drive side seal plate. Made in Italy.
Some
small things are important on a Lambretta engine and one such item is
the ‘halite washer’ that sits between the drive side main bearing and
the oilseal. A lot of the drive side oilseal failures on Lambretta
engines are due to the poor quality halite washers on the market which
are just gasket paper and do NOT have the wire mesh internally. This
internal meshing makes ALL the difference, giving the washer it’s strength and that’s why Vittorio has now had these made up.
