Layshaft holding tool

Another essential workshop tool. Used for holding any Series 1-3 and DL/GP layshaft so you can use your other hand to draw the layshaft into place and seated in the rear hub bearing properly. If your layshaft is not pulled all the way in, you will go nuts trying to figure out why you cannot get the gearbox shimmed correctly or why nothing seems to align. Your hands will thank you too as those layshaft edges tend to be quite sharp.
