Engine silentblock (mount): 175-200

Italian engine mounts by Casa Lambretta. These are the reinforced type with no holes as opposed to the original Italian and Indian mounts with two or three holes and make for a stiffer ride. Can be fitted to any Series 1, 2 or 3 casing. Sold each.

During the production run of the DL range, Innocenti found the right hand side engine silentblock vibrationed more than its counterpart. Therefore they introduced a reinforced silentblock for the right side only. The vibrations are caused because the right hand side silentblock is nearer to the axis of the crankshaft. The AF S Types of the 1960s were also equipped with a reinforced drive side engine silentblock. They had two welded together with a longer spindle. Reports of that time claimed less vibrations and wear and much better handling on fast corners.
